Megan Walters

Megan Walters is a native Floridian from Fernandina Beach. Studying at Florida State College at Jacksonville, she earned her B.A.S. in Supervision and Management, with the intent of using her business and management knowledge in a library field. Prior to attending The University of Alabama to earn her MLIS, she worked at a car dealership as an administrative assistant and special projects manager. Unsurprisingly, Megan has an interest in special libraries, with a particular focus on business libraries. She desires to extend the knowledge and spirit of Project ALFA to businesses that need information to be accessible to both their own employees and their consumers. Megan believes that understanding ALFA-targeted user needs is the key to efficient and accessible design, and hopes to find a way to bridge the digital divide that grows as technology advances.
