Leigh Anderson

Leigh Anderson earned a B.A. in English from The University of the South (Sewanee), graduating with honors and Phi Beta Kappa in 2007. After graduation, she worked briefly in guest services at the Walt Disney World Resort before accepting an editorial assistant position with Southern Living Magazine. She eventually made her way home to Nashville, Tennessee, where she currently works as a legal assistant for a small civil litigation firm.

Leigh is pursuing her MLIS degree through The University of Alabama and is honored and excited to participate as a fellow in Project ALFA. She first became interested in universal access through her volunteer work with Bridges, a nonprofit serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities in Nashville. Upon completion of the MLIS degree, Leigh hopes to work in a public library or archival setting.
